What's included

The Breakr Experience

Your own private smash room, a pile of breakables and plenty of tools to destroy them with. Everything you need for some smashing good fun!

  • 30 breakables each

    Plates, mugs, glasses, vases and whatever else came in that week. Want more? Add 15 items for $10.

  • Pick your tools

    Baseball bats, hammers, crowbars and more. Try them all and find your favourite way to smash!

  • Lights & music

    Choose your colours, play your favourite tunes and smash to your own beat.

  • All the safety gear

    Coveralls, helmets or face shields, ear protection, gloves and boots. We've got you covered!

  • Up to 2 per room

    Smash solo or bring a mate! With 2 private rooms, up to 4 people can smash at once.

  • Zero clean-up

    Walk away from the wreckage. Someone else deals with the mess.

What to expect

Smashing Made Simple

  1. Book

    Choose your session and book online at least 24 hours ahead.

  2. Arrive

    Get here 5 minutes early to sign your waiver. Wear comfortable clothes.

  3. Suit Up

    We'll get you into your safety gear, run through the rules and show you the tools of destruction.

  4. Smash!

    Choose your lighting, put on your favourite tunes and smash your way through 30 breakables. We'll handle the cleanup!

Good to know

Before You Smash

  • Bookings essential

    Bookings are required at least 24 hours ahead, as we're not open for walk-ins. Feeling spontaneous? Request a session online and we'll see what we can do!

  • Ages 14+

    Smashers must be 14 or older. Under 18s need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18+.

  • Enclosed shoes

    Wear fully enclosed shoes in good condition and comfortable clothes you can move in. We'll supply all the protective gear!

  • No alcohol

    Everyone needs to be sober to smash. Save the drinks for afterwards!

  • Be on time

    Arrive 5 minutes early to get ready. Late arrivals may have less time to smash.

  • Participants only

    For safety reasons, only participants can enter the smash rooms. Spectators can watch the action on our live screens!

Smash Room Questions

What is a smash room?
A smash room (also called a rage room or break room) is a place where breaking things is encouraged! At Breakr in Canberra, you'll suit up in protective gear, grab your favourite tools and smash your way through 30 plates, mugs, glasses and other breakables.

How many people can smash at once?

We have 2 smash rooms for up to 2 people each, so 4 people can smash at once! Larger groups take turns, with everyone getting their own 30 breakables. You can even watch the action on our live screens while waiting for your turn.

Groups of up to 8 can book online. Planning something bigger? Get in touch and we'll see what we can arrange.

Do I need to book? Can I walk in?

Bookings are essential, as we only open for scheduled sessions. Please book at least 24 hours ahead.

Feeling spontaneous? Request a session online and we'll do our best to fit you in!

When is Breakr open?

Smash sessions are available Friday to Sunday, with weekday sessions depending on availability. Axxe + Smash combos are available seven days a week, all by booking.

Can't find a suitable time? Send us a session request and we'll see what we can arrange.

What do I get to smash?

Plates, mugs, glasses, vases, bowls and whatever else comes our way! Everyone gets 30 breakables, with an extra 15 available for just $10.

Sometimes we even have special extras like car windscreens you can add to your session. There's always something different waiting to be destroyed!

What can I smash with?

Take your pick from steel poles, hammers, crowbars and more! Or skip the tools and throw things at the wall or ground.

Swap tools as often as you like, with the selection changing from time to time.

Can I play my own music?
Absolutely! Both smash rooms have customisable lighting and sound systems. Choose your colour mode, play your favourite playlist and smash to your own soundtrack.

Is it safe?

Safety is our priority! Everyone receives a safety briefing and protective gear, including coveralls, a helmet or face shield, ear protection, gloves and boots.

Our purpose-built smash rooms are designed for the activity, and our team monitors every session. You’ll need to follow the safety rules at all times to help keep everyone safe.
